Scheduled Activities:

REA (Rapid Ecological Assessment) Team A: 2 dives in murky lagoon habitats, East central area that has not been surveyed before, mini "atolls" - patch reefs with depressed, lagoon-like center.

REA (Rapid Ecological Assessment) Team B: 4 dives - 1 mid lagoon, 2 back of reef crest, 1 seagrass meadow of endemic Haliphila hawaiiana.

Coral Team : Set new permanent monitoring transect on patch reef in central lagoon. Ground truthing on six locations, mainly in western back reef area.

Maritime Archaeology : Interior and perimeter survey of Southeast Island.

Intertidal: Surveyed SE Island. Excellent emergent limestone reef on N and W shores. High biomass, low diversity of invertebrates. Limu, same customers; beautiful shallow reef flat along North shore. Heavily bioeroded by Echinometra mathaei. High fish biomass. Large biomass Rhoblyth - like erect (non-articulated) corraline algae.

Terrestrial Team: Bird surveys on Southeast Island. Weeding.
