Description: 15-20 Knot wind. 8-12 foot seas.
Forecast: 15-25 knot winds. NE scattered showers. 7-12 ft seas, dropping to 4-8 ft seas as high builds.

Current: 1 knot surface

Transit: Transit to Midway Atoll


REA (Rapid Ecological Assessment) Team A:
2 dives - observed a number of fish species not normally seen in the main Hawaiian Islands.

REA (Rapid Ecological Assessment) Team B: 2 dives - low relief, sand and low ridges of algal meadows. Many fish, Manta Rays, three kinds of sharks, 2nd dive - potholes with fish inside.

Coral Team : Set new permanent transect in lagoon, noted bleaching. One ground truth dive on sand and algae.

Maritime Archaeology : Survey dive in area of Pearl and Hermes wrecks.
