Description: Showers with isolated squalls. 4-8 ft. seas, 20-25 knot winds.
Forecast: Isolated showers, wind and seas dropping.

Daily Vessel Plan:
Scheduled Activities:
REA (Rapid Ecological Assessment) Team A:
3 dives each - including algal ridge, large school of Ulua, and carbonate boulder field.

REA (Rapid Ecological Assessment) Team B: 3 dives each - windward side, rain above, sand channels below.

Coral Team : Set permanent transect on sand channel entry on West side, 2 coral cores, one 40 cm, longest so far. Ground truthing at both sites.

Maritime Archaeology : Hiked perimieter of island documenting wreck and maritime debris.

Terrestrial: Propigated Prichardia (Loulu Palm) seeds from Nihoa in dibble tubes for eventual outplanting on Laysan.
