Hi`ialakai Plan of the Day

PLAN OF THE DAY
NOAA SHIP HI'IALAKAI (R334)
Date: Sept 17, 2004 (Friday)
Congratulations to all for helping make the first day
of scientific operations a successful one.  The
scientists are pleased so the crew of HI'IALAKAI should
be happy.
0730 - Launch HI-1 (10m) for REA work, HI-2 (8m) for
moorings, and HI-3 (19' Safe Boat) for tow boarding
near 23/46.1 N and 166/15.7 W.  HI-1 will take Dan,
David, and Susan to La Perouse for snorkeling and photo
ops.
~1100 - HI-1 alongside ship to off-load Dan, David, and
Susan.  Then head back out for additional REA work.
1630 - Recover boats near 23/50 N and 166/18 W
(anchorage site from yesterday.)
Night Ops. - TBD depending on equipment availability.
Both CTD and TOAD need additional tweaking.  RET
Crumley tracking down issues.
Movies for this evening: (Both will start at 1730 and
again at 2000.)
