Hi`ialakai Plan of the Day

PLAN OF THE DAY
NOAA SHIP HI'IALAKAI (R334)
Date: Sept 16, 2004 (Thursday)
Today is the first day of scientific operations for the
crew and scientists aboard HI'IALAKAI.  How exciting!!
0730 - Launch HI-1 (10m) and HI-3 (19' Safe Boat) at
23/52.8 N and 166/16.4 W.
0730 - Brian Z. will contact Tern Island to determine
if they can use their boats to come alongside
HI'IALAKAI and pick-up their stores.  Dan S., Susan M.,
and David L. - Please coordinate with Brian about the
possibility of going ashore.
0930 - Launch HI-2 (8m).  Possibly receive boats from
Tern Island.  Transfer cargo.  Tern Island boats (2)
may need to make two trips to transfer all cargo.
~1630 - Recover boats.

again at 2000.)
