PLAN OF THE DAY
NOAA SHIP HI'IALAKAI (R334)
Cruise HI-04-01
Date: 	Oct 15, 2004 (Friday)
0700 Arrive at Nihoa 
Depending on weather [PLANS WERE CANCELED -- D.S.] 
0730 Launch site near Island wherever the best lee
     exists, west side preferred (order of launch). 
* HI-3 - Tow team will conduct tows around Island 
* HI-1 - REA Team will visit sites R8, R9, and R5
* HI-2 - Mooring Team will conduct CTD casts around
  Island outside of the protected waters of the
  reserve 
1330 HI-5 alongside ship for recovery
1600 Stagger the recovery of all boats near the launch
     site.  HI-1 is expected at 1620, then HI-2 at
     1630, and HI-3 at 1640. 
1700 Underway for Honolulu (approximately 250 nm)
Evening movies: (Both will start at 1730 and again at
2000.)
