Hi`ialakai Plan of the Day 10/10

PLAN OF THE DAY
NOAA SHIP HI'IALAKAI (R334)
Cruise HI-04-01
Date: Oct 10, 2004 (Sunday)
0000 - 0600 Conduct camera tows and CTD's per Night
Operations sheet 
0730 Launch site near 25/57.5 N and 173/51.4 W (order
     of launch) 
     * HI-3 - Tow team will conduct tows around the
       south side of Neva Shoal in a CW direction. 
     * HI-1 - REA Team will visit sites 10, R10, and
       R7.  Dive Supervisor Bostick aboard as an
       observer. 
     * HI-2 - Mooring Team will recover/deploy a SST
       and WTR. 
     * HI-5 - Educational/Outreach Team will do 1 dive
       with Middleton and Holzworth. 
1030 HI-5 will rendezvous with HI-1 to pick-up Bostick
     then head back to ship. 
1100 HI-5 alongside ship to drop off Middleton and
     Bostick, pick up Suthers, then head back out. [I
     didn't go -- D.S.] 
1130 HI-5 meets HI-2 to drop off Holzworth. 
No mid-day equipment swap with HI-3
1600 Stagger the recovery of all boats near 25/56.2 N
     and 173/58.2 W.  HI-5 should be back at 1600,
     followed by HI-1 at 1620, then HI-2 at 1630, and
     HI-3 at 1640.  
(Refer to Night Ops sheet for locations)
1800 - 2400 Conduct TOAD camera tows at stations around
            Lisianski Island/Neva Shoal. 
When you have finished watching a movie, please leave
the 8mm tape and box in the ET Shop.  The movie
custodian will put them away each night.  Thanks for
your cooperation.   
Evening movies: (Both will start at 1730 and again at
2000.)
