Plan OF THE DAY
NOAA SHIP HI'IALAKAI (R334)
Cruise HI-04-01
Date: Oct 1, 2004 (Friday)
0730 Launch site near 28/11.0 N and 177/55.1 W (order
of launch) 
* HI-1 - REA will work at sites H10 and R25, or H11 and
  R25.  Sites visited depend on weather. 
* HI-2 - Mooring Team will deploy a WTR in the NW
  corner of Midway followed by CTD casts in the
  lagoon. 
* HI-3 - Tow team will operate around the leeward side
  of Midway. 
[Ship docked after launches due to swell. D.S.] 
1300 HI-1 and HI-2 back alongside ship.  HI-3 will
     remain out until 1600. 
1600 HI-3 back alongside ship.
1700 Barbecue on the pier with personnel from Fish
     and Wildlife Service. [Delayed one day due to
     weather. D.S.] 
No night operations.
Evening movies: (Both will start at 1730 and again at
2000.)
